Away We Go

We recently saw the inde­pen­dent film Away We Go about a cou­ple on a jour­ney around the U.S. and Canada on a search to find who they wanted to be as par­ents and where they wanted to set­tle down and begin their fam­ily. True to most inde­pen­dent films, we left with our ideas chal­lenged but also with our stom­achs sore from laugh­ter. Vitaliy and I are now leav­ing on our own jour­ney around the U.S. I am sure along the way there will be many times when our ideas about life will be chal­lenged and many moments ahead full of non-stop laugh­ter. We will be fly­ing into St. Louis, my home­town as you all know, and will be join­ing a car­a­van of my dad’s fam­ily to make the trek down to North­ern Florida. We will be doc­u­ment­ing our trip along the way with words and pic­tures so be sure to check back in to be a part of our jour­ney. I hope we will chal­lenge your ideas and bring you lots of laugh­ter with the posts ahead.vncc

Here we are hang­ing out at the air­port wait­ing to board our flight which just hap­pens to be run­ning late. A vaca­tion wouldn’t be the same with­out a delayed flight, now would it?
