So what did you think of Vitaliy’s picks yesterday? As I looked through the images that he chose, they all corresponded with his personality — spontaneous, fun, and in the moment. As I began to choose a few of my favorites, I knew exactly what the majority of them would be — hopelessly romantic. I mean, come on, Cinderella is one of my all time favorite movies! A girl dreams of the day she will put on her wedding dress. The anticipation for this moment is so great in her mind. Surrounded by her friends, the moment is finally here, and they all look at her watching their friend transform into what we’ve all fantasized about becoming one day — a princess. I love this moment!
The flowers…oh the flowers! They surely ad to the romance of the day. Each bride has their own unique bouquet chosen that speaks about who they are as a woman.
There is nothing more intimate and romantic on the wedding day than capturing the moments shared between the bride and groom as they realize this is the day the will finally become one, finally become husband and wife.
Fun moments are had by all on a wedding day.
The dress too is an extension of the bride — you really get a glimpse into who she is and what she loves. Most brides never get to wear their wedding dress again so I love that we get to capture the details of it so she’s able to look at her pictures and remember every detail about her dress and how she looked in it that day.
Lastly, one of my favorite moments at weddings is when they finally announce the couple as Mr. and Mrs. ________. They walk out as they are congratulated by their closest loved ones and there is always this sense of, “We did it! We finally did it! We’re husband and wife!” I love this moment.

Candace, I love to read these posts, because I can hear your sweet voice saying the words, and I can hear your heart. It is so much fun being able to be part of the journey the two of you are on. I love these pictures, too. My favorite ones are the second, with Vasiliy and Olga, rustic looking. It truly reminds me of the old album my parents and my grandparents have. Watching your work, I find it more beautiful than I used to. Thanks for bringing some great memories as well.

Oh, I forgot to say that my second favorite was the full dress. Such a gorgeous dress and it’s great you got a cool shot of it to bring back some best memories of the wedding day. Very cool.
