I’m not sure if you remember, but we have been documenting the entire first year of baby Charlotte’s life. We started when she was 3 months and then we photographed her at 6 months. Today I’m here to share pictures of Charlotte at 9 months old. I am absolutely amazed at how much she has grown over these months. It has been so much fun to witness her growth and I am thrilled to be able to present these pictures to Megan and Brad. I’m so happy that they will have the entire first year of their beautiful Charlotte documented. Kids grow up so fast, but to have these images to look back on will always be so special.
At 9 months old, Charlotte’s personality has developed immensely and you’ll get to see it throughout these pictures. As I looked through these images and worked with Vitaliy to get them ready for the blog, one thing stood out very clear to me. This session is all about expressions. Pay close attention to all of the different expressions on Charlotte’s face. But not only on Charlotte’s face because Megan and Brad also have a range of emotions expressed throughout as well. Expressions are fleeting moments and freezing them at 1/250th of a second within a frame helps us to relive them in the future as we look back at those images. These wide range of expressions enhance the story that our images communicate.
Megan and Brad — you guys never disappoint. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for making what we do so special. We love you guys! Can’t wait for the big 1 year old birthday!
.

Ladies, can we attest to this range of emotions — happy one minute and unhappy the next?

This smile and those teeth just make my heart beat faster.

This is my favorite shot of the day. I told Vitaliy he needs to enter it into a contest. If you agree, leave him a comment. Maybe he’ll listen to all of you.

As I’ve mentioned before, it is always important for us when we do family sessions to take time to photograph just the husband and wife. This moment is a perfect example of why we do this.

Oh, I wish I could read her mind in this one.

Baby Charlotte, thanks for making me smile.

This made an otherwise blah day ( cleaning up and getting life back together after 4 days in Seattle — sleep deprived, and kinda crabby ) SO SO happy! =)
LOVE LOVE LOVE them all! Seriously, beyond obsessed with the 2nd one, and the one that you love. Fabulous, fabulous job as always!
Can’t wait to see you both tomorrow evening.
XOXO
Fabulous job! Cudos to the model and the photographer !! I will have to say, if I were entering one of these in a contest, it has to be the one with Charlotte on the hay looking out to her right. Like you, I’d love to know what she saw and what she was thinking!
Great job kids. You make Momma proud
Those are adorable!! Love them! I especially like the last one and the one where she is upset one second and smiling like crazy in the next one. I can’t believe how many expressions she has– she must have her mama’s personality, haha!!
