Greg & Allison: The Slideshow

I love getting comments on the blog for a few reasons. First off, it lets me know that there really is someone out there reading this blog. Secondly, it’s always nice for the people featured on the blog to hear your kind words about their pictures. It’s also encouraging for us! And lastly, I enjoy the interaction with my readers. On yesterday’s post, a few of you asked about Allison walking into the ceremony with no shoes and yet walking out with shoes. Check out the slideshow of her beautiful wedding to get the answer to your questions.

    Love the foot washing!!!! :)

Wow, they washed each others feet! What a symbol of how they want their marriage to be — serving each other. Who wouldn’t want to submit to a husband like that! And I love her boquet! And their childlikeness!

It was such a special, unique day.
Allison, you are a beautiful person inside and out. What a lovely hair style and wedding dress!
I loved the scripture message..about marriage being a covenant before God and towards eachother NOT a pre-nuptual agreement. Profound!
Never before was a foot washing done at a wedding ceremony! WE DO know the symbolic meaning of true servanthood. Christ was the model servant! Willingingness to serve eachother in ways that glorifies God.
That is one of the key elements lacking in relationships today.
We were in awe of the elegant, simplicity of the decorations:the netting and butterflies, pumpkin/flower table center peices, the flower bulb wedding favors! We loved the story about your childhood dream about the color purple-Then Greg presents you with purple flowers! We praised God that He held back the rain that day.
My mom had given me her blessings for traveling mercies to NO. CA., was rejoicing about God’s anwered prayer about Greg and said she would be praying for your wedding day.
On the day I was to return home, the Lord called her to her Heavenly Home. We carried out her wishes a Beautiful Celebration of Life Memorial and Church service.
Thank you for including us to be a part of celebrating with you!!!
There is a time for everything under Heaven.
    Love and Hugs,
    Lorraine & Pehty

Thanks for informing us of this web site. It was fun to relive the beautiful wedding and see the two of you so happy. God bless you as you continue to be a blessing to Him and to each other.

    Love, Aunt Margie
