Because we live away from our family, each year I like to insert a family picture in our Christmas card for everyone to keep. Obviously, I am way behind schedule. I wanted my friend Callie to take our family pictures but she moved before I got my act together. She is the one that took the fabulous pictures of Vitaliy and I for our two year anniversary. One of which is the header on this blog. So we had to result to our trusted tripod to get the job done because we were running out of time. Oh, Internet, I wish you could have seen the sight!
We downloaded the pictures and eagerly waited to see what the tripod and my mother’s index finger captured. As we scrolled through the pictures, we stumbled across the one below and I was reminded of the fact that my husband is a ladies’ man. I first realized this on our honeymoon. I watched the responses he received from women. I was so surprised because he is the type that would never even think about it. I mean when I told him that I thought he was a ladies’ man his response was, “What does that mean?” Whether it is on the phone or in person, the ladies love Vitaliy. We’ve received freebies, discounts and even upgrades at hotels and restaurants. It isn’t like he flirts with women, it is just his simple charm and the friendliness in his voice that causes people to want to do nice things.
The picture below completely captures what I mean. Vitaliy is a true ladies’ man — he is surrounded by women in his life. If it wasn’t bad enough that he has a wife and a sister under the same roof, now he is joined by his mother-in-law. I feel for him! I’ve always said when Vitaliy and I start having kids I want all boys and only one girl. The way things are going right now I’m afraid we are going to have a houseful of girls.

My favorite picture of the day. Vitaliy may have issues with his wife and sister but I know he’s thrilled about having his mother-in-law under his roof!!!
Awesome! Totally captures V’s innocent charm. And you two ladies are lovely!
by the way, was that pic taken near the Japanese Tea Garden at Central Park?
@Dana: Yes, it is behind the Tea Garden. I am all about Central Park lately. They have so many different backdrops to use. It is a beautiful park. On days when I wish I had kiddies, I dream of bringing them there. Luckily I don’t have many days like that.
Well ain’t that sometin’? Life was quite peaceful until I met Candace. Then all of a sudden I find out that I am a “ladies’ man”. I have been really blessed in my life to be surrounded by such beautiful women as Candace, my sister and now my mother-in-law. As long as I get a break once in a while I think I will be fine.
V, you are a true ladies man. One of my favorite memories of your lady-skills in action, was you making that first card for Candace at my house over Thanksgiving break so many moons ago. I need to dig those pictures up so you can post them here. You spent so long on that card and must have come up with 5–6 different versions before finally settling on one. It had to be perfect.
Merry Christmas to all the Prokopets!
What a lucky fella!!
