Life in Between

A few nights ago, Vitaliy wrapped his arm around me while I rested my head com­fort­ably on his chest. We squeezed in tight together and began to thumb through all of the images on his Black­berry from the past year. We came across so many for­got­ten mem­o­ries and we spent the next few min­utes laugh­ing and rem­i­nisc­ing about 2009.  It was so excit­ing to see so many pic­tures I had for­got­ten about. But even so, it was a bit emo­tional to see so many moments that had once been so near. These are the in between moments. We always have a cam­era at the big moments in life, but there never seems to be one handy in those ran­dom real life moments in between. How­ever, we always have our phones. We never leave home with­out ‘em! And they are the key to cap­tur­ing those sweet moments that our cam­eras may have missed out on.

I’m excited to say that by the end of this year, we’re going to have a much larger col­lec­tion of these kinds of pic­tures. That’s right! Because as of today, we have become offi­cial own­ers of the iPhone. I know, I know, we’re a lit­tle behind in tech­nol­ogy. I mean, come on, yes­ter­day the iPad is announced and today we’re just now get­ting the iPhone. I’ll be look­ing for­ward to shar­ing some of the sto­ries our iPhones will cap­ture. Until then, here’s a look at last year’s Black­berry images. Oh, the Black­berry, that’s so 2009!.
