After writing my last post, we started on the road to Sacramento, as well as, the road to renewal. It’s amazing what God will put in your path to cheer your sad heart. When we arrived to our cousin’s house on Friday night, this little ray of sunshine arrived shortly after. I haven’t seen her since she was a little baby but when she walked through that door with her pigtails and boots, my heart couldn’t help but smile. She was truly a special gift for me. We laughed and played the entire night together. It was just what I needed to get things turned around and it came in the form of a 2 year old. Never underestimate the children in your lives. God can use even the youngest to accomplish His work.

She’s digging into her bag of Fruit Loops. I think I may have been more excited than she was when her mom pulled them out. Forget the cake, bring on the cereal! Oh and ladies, please check out those eye lashes.
I’d like to say that she was blowing me a kiss in this one, but in reality, she’s just shoveling more Fruit Loops into her mouth. I can’t blame her for that, they are yummy to the tummy. I did get the kiss by the end of the night though.
And there it is, the sweet smile. Her little teeth with those pigtails! Maybe it’s time we make a little Prokopets! hehe!
